Greetings,

Since 1945, the Zeta National Educational Foundation Inc., (ZNEF) has served and partnered as the charitable arm 501(c)(3) of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Providing higher education scholarships, health and educational programs, and research to improve global communities represents the hallmark of the ZNEF mission.

During the Centennial Year 2020, ZNEF teamed with the Zeta National Grant Writing Team to submit proposals for grants totaling over $62 million in areas related to female justice, youth, minority health (COVID), and science (STEM).

Most notably, throughout the years, ZNEF has supported thousands of students of all ethnicities and genders in their pursuit of higher education. In commemoration of Zeta’s 100-year anniversary and under the leadership of International Centennial President Valerie Hollingsworth Baker, the Triumphant Founders’ Centennial Scholarship was established to support an individual female high school senior in her collegiate pursuits. The first $100,000 scholarship, in honor of Triumphant Founder Arizona Cleaver Stemons, was awarded on Juneteenth 2020. In 2021, the second scholarship of $125,000 was awarded in honor of Triumphant Founder Pearl Anna Neal. The goal is to provide a Centennial scholarship, honoring a different Founder each year until 2024.

While we celebrate the accomplishments of the past, we look forward to an even brighter future for an even “bigger, bolder, better” ZNEF by adhering to business processes of strategic planning; total quality management; organizational restructuring for growth and efficiency; enhanced operations through greater definition of processes, protocols, and procedures; and project management practices.

As we approach a half century of excellence, we invite you to connect with us as stakeholders, donors, and volunteers, as we continue to offer health, educational and research opportunities to communities all around the world. Our goal is to establish ZNEF and the Zeta brand as an internationally recognized research and education institution. We are committed to succeeding at our mission – making lives better for others through research and education.
