The 2022 Sankofa Tour
IWC is planning a tour of Ghana, West Africa that includes exploring our ancestral homeland, its tantalizing rhythms, dance food, customs, culture, history and the Zeta projects the sorority has established throughout the country. Tentatively scheduled for 12 days (two which are travel and 10 overnight in Ghana) this tour will include time with our Ghanaian sorors, completion of a ZHOPETM project and a visit time at the US Embassy. Create indelible memories that will last a lifetime.
NOTE: The exact date is to be determined. We are still faced with a pandemic and this trip will not occur until it is safe for international travel and everyone can be safe. In the interim, we will plan and prepare the sisterhood for a wonderful experience.
