Support Hurricane Matthew Relief Efforts
As Hurricane Matthew moves out to sea, the women of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated are thankful for the millions of lives spared from the path of this Category 4 storm as it moved from the Caribbean up the southeastern coast of the United States. Yet, we mourn with those who have lost loved ones, and for all who have been impacted by its destruction.
Our hearts are particularly heavy for our Haitian brothers and sisters, who are once again suffering from a tremendous loss of close to 900 lives. Through our affiliation with the National Pan-Hellenic Council, we are closely monitoring the situation in Haiti, and the United States, with guidance from FEMA and the National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD). As specific needs in Haiti and the United States are identified, we will keep you abreast and determine the best way for Zeta to assist.
For those Sorors and Amicae who would like to make a financial donation to help Haitian children in need, consider making donations to UNICEF’s Haiti Hurricane Relief efforts. Please note that once UNICEF receives its donation goal for the Haiti emergency appeal, collected funds will be used to support other emergency response programs worldwide.UNICEF | Donate Now Download Official Release
